NASBA Releases State by State CPA Exam Credit Extensions

With the closure of Prometic locations all across the U.S. many CPA candidates have seen their dreams of becoming a CPA postponed. While many CPA candidates feel as if they are in a state of limbo many other candidates are anxiously wondering if their credits will expire.

Since CPA licensure is issued on a state by state basis there hasn’t been a broad clear cut answer that eases each CPA candidate’s worries. Luckily, in response to candidates request NASBA released a state by state compilation of the latest information regarding credit extension policies across all 55 jurisdiction.

With many states extending credits to December of 2020 this is a prime time for candidates to push past the final parts of their CPA exam journey. Although the above chart summarizes the current status for CPA candidates, the information contained thereunder is subject to change.
